Getting There: Flying

Continental provides direct service from Houston to the airport in Costa Rica's capital, San Jose.  While the best rate we could find online was $700, we booked our flights through Tripchest.com and got a rate of $460 which was still available the first week in March.  We suggest you contact TripChest at:

Once in San Jose, you will need to get to the Pacific coast. There are two air services to the coast. From Costa Rica's main airport, San Jose (SJO), take a 45-minute flight via:

SANSA, $66 one way or $132 roundtrip to Tamarindo (The nearest city to our hotel that has an airport -- about 15 miles).  

or

TravelAir  $88 and $146 (506) 296-1102 to Tamarindo's domestic airport (TNO). Prior to your arrival, please confirm your reservations and inform us of your travel arrangements to ensure a undisturbed trip.
